What is Merge Infinity?

Merge Infinity is a number-matching puzzle game that was based on 2048 but has a new chain-connecting feature that makes it better. Your job is to make bigger numbers by making lines between numbers that are the same, like 2, 2, 2, or 4, 4, 4. The cool thing is that you can connect in 8 ways, including up, down, left, right, and even diagonally. This lets you make a huge number of strategic choices.

After each successful match, new number tiles will fall from above, filling the gap and creating opportunities for further combinations. You can play at your own pace, whether you want to think slowly or explode with chains that are very long. There is no time limit.

How to play Merge Infinity

The most important principle of Merge Infinity is that you can connect number tiles in any direction, as long as they are matchable.

How to connect and match numbers

Press or click and hold to start drawing a connecting line.

Connect at least two adjacent tiles with the same value (e.g., 2–2, 4–4, 8–8…).

After matching, you can continue the chain by combining tiles with newly doubled values.

Strategy

Prioritise creating long chains instead of short, scattered matches.

Observe the entire board to take advantage of diagonal lines; this is what makes Merge Infinity unique.

No need to rush, as the game has no time limit or turn limit.
