Feetle

Feetle is a daily word chain puzzle game based on Poople! It will test your English vocabulary and your logical reasoning. You get a new starting word each day, but the destination is always FEET. You are provided a starting word and a goal word, and you want to find a path of legitimate English words that links the two, changing one letter at a time.

Rules for Letter Transformation

The purpose is to turn the first word into the word FEET through a series of 4-letter words.

You can change one letter at a time to construct a new word but the other 3 letters must stay the same.

Valid vocabulary: Each word must be an actual term that the game’s technology identifies.

Controls

On PC: Use your actual keyboard to type letters. Press Enter to submit a word, Backspace to erase the last character you typed.

On Mobile: You can play the game using the on-screen virtual keyboard with Enter and Backspace buttons.

Strategies to Minimize Steps

Locating the word FEET is just half the battle; the real issue is finding the most efficient route, avoiding dead ends.

Start with words that differ from FEET by only one letter (such as FRET, MEET, FENT) and work your way backward to your starting word.

Compare your current word with FEET to see which letters are in the correct place and which need to be changed.

Do not mindlessly follow the target. Sometimes you can replace a letter that is already matching in "FEET" as a shortcut to a win.

The finest in-between words are flexible. You want a word that can be morphed into a range of different words fairly readily, so you can pivot your strategy rapidly.

Find surprising links by using words with similar spellings or structures.
