Poople is a unique word-guessing puzzle game, inspired by the classic style of Wordle, but reinvented with a sense of satire, wit, and delightful surprises.

Your challenge is to guess a secret 5-letter word in fewer than six guesses. The game challenges your vocabulary and abilities of deduction, but it also throws in lots of laughs, with its humorous language and slang.

Each round only has six tries, so you have to think through each input carefully to get as much information as possible.

Start with vowel-rich words

The first guess is an important exploratory action. Select a word with 2-3 common vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and common consonants (R, T, S, L, N). This method allows you to swiftly pinpoint the basic phonetic structure of the mystery word from the very beginning.

Use the process of elimination to the hilt

Carefully watch the screen, so you do not duplicate characters previously indicated in grey.

On the second turn—if the first didn't reveal many green tiles—boldly use a completely new word containing untested letters to screen more potential characters, rather than stubbornly trying to build a word around a single known letter.

Anticipate slang and satirical themes

Poople’s biggest differentiator is its satirical vocabulary.

When yellow and green clues appear but forming a standard, serious word leads to a dead end, broaden your thinking to include common slang, interjections, or words with a humorous tone.
Stay calm during the final two turns.

By the 5th or 6th turn, the chance of failure is greater, and people tend to rush the input. Work out likely word patterns, pause to write down the letter combinations you can employ, and then commit to your final guess to keep your streak alive.
