How to play Dig Out of Prison

Dig Out of Prison is a fantastic combination of spatial reasoning and dexterity. You'll have to calculate the path of the earth and sand, avoid dangerous traps, and gather your fellow prisoners to pull off a century-defining escape. No guns or swords needed; your most powerful weapon for freedom is your finger!

Controls

Swipe to dig: Simply swipe your finger across the screen on the brown layers of earth to create tunnels.

Physical impact: Characters will automatically fall down the tunnels you've dug. Remember, they can't fly, so the path must logically descend from top to bottom.

Objective

The goal of every level is to get the prisoners to fall into the truck and the rescue boat at the bottom of the screen.

Some levels require you to get a certain number of prisoners onto the truck to win.

Obstacles

Don't dig tunnels that lead your character straight into these traps. Dig around the guards' line of sight, or cleverly "dig the ground" under the guards' feet so they fall into the traps first.

You can't dig through concrete. Use gravity to knock down large rocks to crush the guards or open new paths.
